Why we built V8Y
We started with a research question, not a product idea. The platform came after years of controlled testing validated the framework underneath it.
We started with one question: why are organizations with great content being ignored by AI systems? The obvious answer — optimize for AI, write better — turned out to be wrong. The signals that determine whether an AI discovers, trusts, and cites an organization aren't in the content. They're in the infrastructure beneath it: security posture, accessibility framework, compliance signals, trust architecture. AI citation is an engineering problem.
That discovery led to a deeper one. Every organization we examined had the same structural failure: dozens of siloed tools, each team running its own, each generating its own reports — and no platform that could answer the question every board eventually asks: where do we actually stand?
