In DoD marketplace programs, a solution rated awardable has already been assessed through competitive procedures that satisfy federal competition requirements for the authorities those marketplaces support. Once a solution is in the marketplace as awardable, government organizations can search, review, contact the vendor, negotiate, and award — typically without a fresh full competition or a Justification and Approval (J&A) under FAR Part 6 for those covered authorities.

That is why this status matters for V8Y: it shortens the path from evaluation to contract for buyers who already know they need boundary-layer visibility across a technology estate.

Platform One Solutions Marketplace (P1SM) — often called P1 Marketplace — is a DoD digital marketplace of post-competition pitch videos for hardware, software, and service solutions that support secure, continuous software delivery and related mission needs.

Vendors submit short video pitches. Assessors evaluate them against published criteria. Solutions that pass are listed as awardable so DoD organizations can discover and procure them through rapid acquisition pathways aligned to authorities such as 10 USC 4021, 10 USC 4022, 10 USC 3458, FAR/DFARS Part 35, and DFARS Subpart 212.70 (as stated by P1SM program materials).

In plain terms: P1SM is how Platform One helps government buyers find validated solutions that are already past the competitive assessment step for those pathways.

Tradewinds Solutions Marketplace (TSM) is the DoD Chief Digital and Artificial Intelligence Office (CDAO) marketplace — managed with Applied Research Institute (ARI) — for AI/ML, digital, and data hardware, software, and services.

Like P1SM, vendors submit concise video pitches on a recurring open call. Expert panels assess submissions. Solutions rated awardable enter the marketplace, where government customers can search, view, and initiate procurement through streamlined pathways designed for digital and AI-era capability gaps.

TSM is built to move validated AI, data, and digital solutions from discovery to award faster than traditional multi-year source selections — while still satisfying competition requirements for the authorities the program covers.

P1SM and TSM serve overlapping but distinct buyer communities: Platform One’s software-delivery and DevSecOps-adjacent ecosystem, and CDAO’s AI/digital/data acquisition community. Being awardable on both means V8Y is discoverable in two of the DoD’s primary post-competition marketplaces for modern technology solutions.
