Confidence drops while delivery looks normal
False Motion AgainVector Lantern
Delivery is healthy. Confidence in the object is not.
Custody and residuals can degrade while sensors are still collecting.
DEMONSTRATION CONCEPT
This is a demonstration concept. It is not a live demonstration and does not report an executed result.
An object is in catalog custody. Sensors continue to deliver. The catalog policy version has not changed.
The track is current and delivery looks normal. Confidence falls.
Confidence can fall while delivery is up. A missed state change, a bad source time, a policy edit, a navigation switch, and a delivery fault can look the same and do not share a repair.
Rolling back an association policy should not count unless that distinction says the policy changed.
V8Y must distinguish a real state change the catalog has not absorbed from source-time, policy, navigation, or delivery problems that can produce a similar confidence loss.
State confidence keeps falling for consumers of that object if the model stays stale.
Not recovery
Success is not a policy rollback.
Recovery
Success is that residuals recover and no false track is promoted.
Observed results
No executed results are published for this thread.
These are the conditions the evaluation would test. They are not reported results.
Grounded in public space-situational-awareness work showing catalogs can be far off for days after maneuvers while sensors keep collecting. A software-policy rollback is not the documented cause. This is a demonstration concept.
