Iron Voyage — when the track picture lies.
A synthetic maritime track-picture estate where operators must trust that one real object appears once — and a quiet config change can break that trust.
The problem
Ghost tracks and truth swaps break operator trust
Operators depend on a coherent track picture: one object, one track, consistent state for every downstream consumer. A hidden timing or pathing change can break holdover in the signal chain and put duplicate dots on the glass — or swap which “truth” the display believes.
Each layer still looks locally healthy. The failure lives between timing, processing, track management, display, and consumers — the boundary layer between tools.
The solution
What V8Y does in Iron Voyage
Iron Voyage runs the same V8Y loop on a synthetic STPS-style estate: observe → predict → route → remediate → verify.
- Observe — estate signals surface as incidents with cause-linked streams, not a raw alert flood.
- Diagnose — separates look-alike faults (software vs batching vs network) so the wrong fix is not applied.
- Human gates — operators approve rollbacks or restraint; V8Y does not make the mission decision.
When the right remediation lands and verifies, the environment returns to nominal and the track picture recovers trust.

What this demo proves — and does not
Iron Voyage is an unclassified TRL 5 synthetic evaluation environment. A pass shows correct behavior against this simulation contract. It does not claim performance on an operational track-picture or C2 network, and verification green is not V8Y deciding the mission.

FAQ
Frequently asked questions
What is Iron Voyage?
A synthetic track-picture mission estate where V8Y detects and remediates faults that create ghost tracks or truth swaps — with human approval where the scenario requires it.
Is this operational C2?
No. It is a TRL 5 unclassified simulation. Passing the demo does not claim performance on an operational track-picture or C2 network.
