Production is stalling. The audit trail still has to survive.
Either the production requirement or the audit record breaks if the stream is handled like disposable load.
DEMONSTRATION SCENARIO
This is a demonstration scenario. It is not a live demonstration and does not report an executed result.
Production jobs and a compliance audit stream share one queue. Both have been completing.
Production stalls, and audit lag grows.
Production lag with audit lag can be an audit stream that must be kept, a disposable analytics query, or a front-door surge. Dropping the audit record is not success in every one of those.
Dropping audit events to restore production should not count as success.
V8Y must distinguish an audit stream that must be kept from a disposable query and from a front-door surge, and recover production without treating the record as optional.
Production service or audit continuity breaks if the stream stays on the queue or is discarded.
Not recovery
Success is not a fast queue bought by dropping the audit.
Recovery
Success is that production recovers and the audit stays complete.
Observed results
No executed results are published for this thread.
These are the conditions the evaluation would test. They are not reported results.
Derived from GitLab’s May 2026 incidents, in which compliance audit streaming on a shared production queue drove saturation. The demonstration adapts that pattern to a mission compliance workflow. The mission-specific implementation is synthetic.

Analytics OverloadCompare with Analytics Overload. A disposable job and a record that must be kept are not the same repair.
